What We Do
With the individual talents and skills that we bring to the table, we hope to create and sell custom arts/crafts, apparel, and accessories that inspire, celebrate, educate, and empower people, culture, pride, and unity in communities.
We hope to inspire individuals to not only feel empowered within themselves, but to support, uplift, and empower others as well. Our goal is to connect people to each other and to celebrate in difference together through social gatherings like paint nights, art exhibits, and more.
Why We Do It
“I always thought that to help others or to help myself I had to speak up verbally, that verbally was the only way to be heard. I was wrong. My art is my voice and my art, although visual, speaks volumes, and helps me find my voice to speak. I always try to create with the purpose of evoking conversations. In my healing journey and as part of my goal to educate others through my art, I challenge myself to live in my blackness and navigate what it means to me. I also challenge myself to learn to continue in the same fight toward liberation and equality. Without addressing my own shame, division, and discord, my hunger for pride, unity, and solidarity would not exist. I want to challenge others to wake this part of themselves up and watch the magic happen.”

“I want to show that through expression you can find yourself and heal. You can start to create your story that feels right for you in a way that works for and celebrates you. Through my creations/art, I can share in my blackness, connect with my community, and educate. I believe in the Rastafarian spirituality and the Pan-African movement in my work. Both movements are big on supporting, advocating, and showing love for one’s community.”
